Warranty
De jour Designs offer a limited 7 day repair/replacement warranty on all special order jewellery only. This warranty applies to material or design breakages or faults only.
Items which appear to have been handled with undue care will not be covered under warranty conditions i.e. pulling and stretching of wire, elastics, clasps or toggles etc till breakage occurs.
Breakage or scratching of glass beads, pendants or materials including findings resulting from dropping or incorrect storage during non wearing periods are also not covered under warranty.
Fair wear and tear of items during the initial warranty period will also not be covered.
Clients should be advised at all times that due care and consideration should be given to all purchased items. Glass items will shatter or scratch over time if not worn or treated with care.
Warranty will also not apply to items which have broken as a result of being caught or scratched during wearing or storage or if item has been submerged or made contact with water , fluids, cosmetic items, moisturizers, cleaning liquids, chemicals, paints etc.
In most cases jewelry can be repaired and/or beads, findings replaced if damage occurs during fair wear and tear. De Jour Designs will advise of availability of material, beads and any costs associated with any client repair/replacement requests.
Necklaces and bracelets should be stored separately either in raffia bags or preferably boxed. In some cases design pieces require flat storage to prevent damage. De Jour can provide recommendations for each item upon request. Boxes are available for purchase on our website.
Postage costs will be on forwarded to the client if the repairs/ replacement are deemed not within our warranty repairs/returns policy i.e. fair wear and tear/mistreatment.
De jour Designs will accept all postage charges if the repairs/replacement is deemed within the boundaries of the limited warranty conditions.
Returns
A limited 7 day Exchange or Store Credit applies upon supply of original store receipt.

Additional Guarantee
As a general practice De jour will only utilise quality beads and or materials purchased through proven suppliers which have undergone strict quality control process. Unless specifically requested or authorised by the client alternative products i.e. plastic will not be utilized in our designs.
Upon use of these items by client request item/s may void all guarantees and/or warranties. The client will be advised of such upon request/supply.
Client Fitting Service
In some cases client orders received via website purchase may require resizing/fitting. In the event that a client is not fully satisfied then contact via phone or email will be required. Upon completion of the initial specific adjustments requested by the client and subsequent return of the item to the client any additional postage and adjustments will incur charges to be on forwarded to the client.
Art & Craft Items
A limited 7 day Exchange/Store credit is available upon supply of original store receipt. Exchange or Returns for art & craft items is additionally subject to the craftspersons concent and only for manufacurer faults.
